Bestie for the Restie
This weekend, I took a trip to Mississippi to see my best friend, Bailey.

Some friends are seasonal, and others are lifelong. Bailey is the type of friend where we can’t wait to be Aunts to each other’s kids!
I met Bailey at a PJ’s (how fitting). She was one of those friends that I just clicked with and she became more like a sister to me! She has built up my confidence so much and helped me see my worth in Christ. There is never a time where I have to wonder if she will be there for me or not.
I look up to her and have loved seeing her graduate college and take a leap of faith to start this new job that she loves!!
The only sad thing is that she’s in Mississippi now! :(
Instead of looking at it in a negative context, I see it as a little getaway for me! I have a place to take a mini trip to and see my best friend!!
The most special thing about my friendship with Bailey is that on my way to PJ’s that day, I was specifically praying in my car to encounter a “Good moment and a God moment.” I was praying for God to place great friends in my life who are meant to be there.
If you need a Bailey in your life, keep praying and trust in God’s timing. He knows the desires of your heart!
Psalm 37:4 NLT
Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you your heart’s desires.
