Carlie’s Coffee Shop Review: Part 1
If you read any of my previous blogs, you know that I am a big fan of PJ’ Coffee. However, I’m always on the lookout for locally owned coffee shops. There’s something about the originality and creativity that gets me everytime. I also have a dream of opening my own coffee shop someday, so I love getting inspiration!
For today’s Coffee Shop Review, I wanna talk about Tamp & Grind in Alexandria, Louisiana. Let me just start by showing you a picture:
I mean come on. How cute is that? I feel like anyone can learn how to make a good (or at least decent) cup of coffee, but it takes a special kind of person to make a timeless and universal environment that no one wants to leave.
Tamp & Grind is located in downtown Alexandria. Over the summer, I had the privilege to go to a church camp- Senior Camp. It’s at the UPCI campgrounds in Tioga and is a camp for high school and college ages. I had an unforgettable experience in the presence of God with some of my closest friends. It was a fun, but also long week, so we eventually all needed a coffee break! We had already been to CC’s and wanted to spice things up a bit. We heard about Tamp & Grind and decided to give it a try. It did not disappoint!
I typically order hot lattes, but it was so hot that day that I decided to get a frozen coffee! It wasn’t too sweet and still tasted like coffee.
When you first walk in, it is a precious seating area. Some people were just enjoying their coffee while others were doing work on their computers. Very chill environment. You keep walking to the right and that’s where you order the COFFEE!!!!
10/10 would recommend. If you’re ever in Alexandria, be sure to stop at Tamp & Grind and let me know how you liked it!!!
Remember… You are loved!
Carlie
